Magnets of Distant Memories

It all started three years ago when I went away to Mexico for that very first time. Funny thing was, it was my first actually outside Canada without the parents.  Sad I know, but I was going through school the years before.

Anyways, It was during this trip, where I picked up the  first magnet. Not only did I have digital proofs of my travels, but I wanted something more unique as well. Travel magnets aren’t a new thing to everyone, but I just loved how it offers an assortment of styles to choose from! It’s definitely unique when travelling through world wide as well!

It’s now 2009 and I was able to collect enough to cover the whole top fridge. There might be a couple where I’ve purchased more then two from the same region but that’s because it was hard to choose. So the next best solution was to just buy them all! Inversely there were places I’ve visited where magnets weren’t available, Tikal and Florence in Guatemala to name two. Alternatives included purchasing something which must have displayed the location written or engraved on it.

Before I sign off, if you click on the image at the top, you’ll be greated by a huge 4303 x 3442 image so you can view each magnet in detail!
