It’s a tranquil start to a hectic day. Have the flowers arrived? Will the day run smoothly? Will the weather hold? My make-up, let it not smudge when I cry.

Is it tention, nerves, an awkward silence? It’s an aura that sets a tone for that morning.. maybe even for the rest of the day!

Barnet Marine Park

Bonnie & Winston were looking to create a printed canvas for guests to sign at their wedding. With a quick one hour session, I was able to snap a few directed pictures to piece together what you see above.
Thanks to my assistant A.J who brought the balloon, flowers and a few other props which really make the scene! Studio time was booked through Whitebox Studios..

I call this one, “He’s only got love on his mind”!

Kaley and Rob, and many of their friends and family, are from outside Vancouver so when arriving here the weather was not exactly picture perfect. Typical Vancouver weather involves sporadic showers of rain and sunshine, and this summer is no exception. Despite the weather, the bride and groom could not be more calm on the day of their wedding.

We arrived at Empire Landmark Hotel where the bride and groom was staying in. The bride came down to pick us up with her finished make-up on and rollers in her hair. The only thing left was to put her wedding dress on. She chose a gorgeous ivory wedding dress by designer San Patrick purchased at Sposa Wedding World in New Westminster. Her necklace was from Carolee Jewelry. Her wedding ring was from Simon G. Jewelry, and the groom’s ring was from Janina’s Jewellers.

The couple and their parties jumped into the limo (and we got to go with them!) where they partied and drank champagne until we arrived at Prospect Point in Stanley Park with matching umbrellas and later at Gastown.

Kaley forgot she had a veil until we were on way to the ceremony and she went upstairs to the hotel to grab another pair of shoes. Rob, her soon-to-be husband, replies, “Well, this is her first marriage.”
