I love snow. The whole waking up in the morning, making a hot chocolate and staring out the window as everything turns to white is something magical to enjoy.
At night it’s the same story but if there’s no mean to leave the house, everyone stays in. Everything’s quiet.

That evening, I set off on foot with a 50 f1.4 on a Canon 30D bound for my friend’s place. The journey took about an hour and here are the photos I took along the way.

Capilano Suspension Bridge, North Vancouver, North Shore, Weddings, Engagement, Bridge House Restaurant, Winter, Canyon Lights, Special Events

It was great to receive another email from Arisa letting me know they’ll be hosting an engagement party back here in Vancouver. The venue, the beautiful Bridge House Restaurant which created a comfortable atmosphere in a casual elegant surrounding with it’s worn rafter and cozy stone fireplace. Originally the residence of the former Capilano Suspension Bridge owner Mac MacEachran, it now services anything from intimate gatherings, receptions and winter weddings.

Family members from different parts of the world came to raise their glasses the young engaged couple. The laughter, jokes, love, and immense bonding between both families which filled the room was extraordinary!

Welcoming in 2011 with a great lineup of electronic beats!

Furthermore though, a little word from me,

As I wrap up 2010 with great success, it’s hard to keep a secret about all the goals and projects already underway for Mananetwork in 2011.

Looking back at my work, I can truly say I am my own worst critic but am happy to know I’ve improved significantly. It’s hard to believe but when you’re hesitating about re-editing, then it only proves that point further.

This could not be possible without all the new and returning fans who keep on supporting. The site receives anywhere from 70 per day to 200 hits on peak posting days. I thank you all who keep on supporting!!!
Remember, whenever someone asks you about a photographer, mention my name. In return, I’ll keep you all up inspired to pick up that camera and travel the world!!

Thank you for giving me that opportunity to continue photographing.

On Saturday, November 13th in 2010, Cliffhanger Climbing Gyms presented its annual bouldering competition in Coquitlam- “The November Sessions”.

With 150 participants across 8 different categories, and support from amazing sponsors such as Arc’teryx, the event was a wicked success and loads of fun. Hiron from KiriKids helped setup cameras and helped edit the footage afterwords. Please enjoy this my first time-lapse video of route set-up and the competition itself. It was a first for the both of us but I think it worked out really well. I hope in the near future we can try this again on another occasion.

Cliffhanger would like to sincerely thank everyone who took part and supported us this year. Rock on, and we hope to see you all again next year! – Cliffhanger
