I love a couple who are willing to go all the way for a photograph. That’s what Christina and Rikki did! It’s just water, their just clothes anyway right?
We took these two love birds out to Dundarave, West Vancouver because it provided us with everything we needed for the shoot – Railway, Beach, Grass, Pear and Water :D

Sit back because I got a lot of photos to share, enjoy!

A nice couple Calvin Klein look

First attempt at getting close to the water without hesitation,

So sweet ;)

Watch out for that wave!

Change of clothes and now it’s time to get into the water :D

Rikki, a superhero?

Time to get down and dirty,

Christina couldn’t keep a straight face when the waves came in,

Did you guys have fun?! OH YA!

Being raised in North Vancouver makes me really appreciate both areas in the area, so whenever we get a chance to photograph a wedding in either North or West Vancouver it’s a privilege. I’ve already posted a congratulations to Nicole and Richard, but here’s their sneak peak photo post. It was great working with another wedding photography couple because they really knew how to choose the locations!
Enjoy

Farid and I were talking about doing a family shoot with his gf and dogs for months. Finally after seeing clear skies and beautiful weather we booked a morning. I brought my camera gear and Farid brought his beautiful girlfriend Devin and two dogs, Taydo and Michka. I’ve known Farid for years, since early high school years back at Carson Graham in North Vancouver. I saw how much they loved each other and wanted to take some photographs – even a small engagement ;)

Our destination was Iona beach, prime get-away spot in Richmond. Away from the busy Vancouver downtown scene and more along the long grassy lands and clear beaches. The dogs were well trained with Michka being the older of the two and Taydo just over year, family portraits were a breeze. Decided to give these two loves birds some time to themselves afterwords though. The passion was hot and love un-mistakable – no way separating these two once together. 3years and still going strong, my words can’t describe how happy I am for the both of you. After going through the photographs, I can happy say it’s some of my best work. Partly skills and majority to the both of them!

Liz, our team book designer also on twitter as, I love deluscious chooses a more handmade paper approach for that ‘rustic’ look

Apply a little glue to keep the edges from being difficult.

Tada, done.
Liz with her scrap-booking background loves putting a great presentation together and I don’t blame her – I appreciate every single detail that does into the process, even down to the packaging. I’ll keep everyone updating as we explore different types of colours and papers for all future clients.

A big congratulations goes out to Nicole and Richard who finally tied the knot yesterday! The ceremony took place outside in West Vancouver at a quaint little location called Garrow Bay. While Nicole arrived in a red 92 Alfa Romeo spider soft top, Richard patiently waited at the front of the alter playing on the guitar. The weather beautiful and the sun coming down bright and strong.

During reception at West Vancouver Yacht club, Nicole & Richard made a water-to-land entrance by boat where they were greeted by the guests who were enjoying snacks and some cool refreshments. For the evening, people were treated to open dinner, desserts, speeches, cake cutting, dancing and two sideshows which were split up with friends/family + couple.

I wish you both all the best of luck and hope you enjoyed getting your photos taken as a official, wife and husband photographer wedding team!

We spent an amazing time with Michelle and Jimmy a couple weekends ago! I’ve known Jimmy for a while, but it wasn’t until spending the entire day I got to know him a lot better! Michelle, you had an amazing dress and your bridesmaid’s couldn’t have been anymore fun!
