Welcome to the first Fine Art Category!

On here I’ll be featuring photos with more of artistic spin and creative bond between complementary photographs. As I focus more in this realm, I hope to produce pieces with a bit more connection to emotion,  story or a place in time.

I present, “Faces of Jaisalmer”

.

It was great working with the same crew as last year, with our new comer Christyn M Hall  (photo on the right).
We didn’t focus as much on the photos this time, but more on the video. The videos really helped show customers how the flexible the Wrap Bandeau can really be.

Make sure to check out the bloopers reel at the end as well!

Something new featured on Vivvo’s is the new video segments about the Wrap (shot, colour graded and editing by me as well)

And my personal favourite, the Bloopers segment!

That’s right, invitations made easy – postcard style!

Write anything on the back, it’s all custom for each person/family you send it too! Example, tell  friends how to dress or the not so good friends they’re invited but only if they bring money. Slap a postage stamp and off it goes.

On the front, each postcard can feature a photo from your engagement, a moment the both of you shared or a series of 60 different images of your choice!! Get everyone to bring in their postcard for a chance to win a prize, just a thought – The ideas are endless!

Whatever the case maybe, pin it on a board or slap it on the fridge, but don’t forget to attend!

Moo.com has also featured these photos in their, “A marriage of ideas” blog

It was great working with Kathy from (Vivvos) last year, so when I heard she was launching a new line and I was invited to photograph, there was no hesitation! If this type of work came in every week, it would become impossible to ever imagine working at a desk job again! I mean, to end up in a free flowing creative environment with gorgeous talented models, a patio and a beautiful sunny day, that’s some hard work!

But wait, not only does this shoot come loaded with photos, videos as well! Stay tuned for the full post.

A little bit about the product from Vivvos’ Blog:

Inspired by a very engaging associate & new pal last week, Anne at FAB (which does carry VIVVOS under?wear!) and my awesome fabrics, I decided to just do it, and come up with a bandeau that could wrap in a multitude of ways. Presto, an instant top that will adjust to any body type thrown into it. Not only that but a top that will match the brazilian vivid under?wear bottoms to make an instant exotic poolside/beachside outfit. These tops pack so small they can be thrown in a purse or pocket.

My fabrics did not let me down. They are so soft, they draped, pleated and ruched themselves into one striking design after another. Strapless, halter, tied at the front, tied at the neck, worn longer on the torso, worn as a shrug, worn as a sarong, it all worked. “Unders” for a shot of colour or “Overs” for a sexy little top with jeans or a skirt….. They can even be layered for an extra shot of colour .

Next week I will have four colours available: black, blue, green and pink! Email or telephone me (check out contact page for that information) to find out which stores will have them soon or if you need one PDQ!

Instructional video coming soon. Check out facebook for more pics!

I spent a wonderful evening photographing Janisse and Justin at the Rose Garden in Stanley Park!

It couldn’t have been a better day to pick it because the blossoms were at full bloom and shedding petals everywhere. Now when I think about it, I should’ve had my lovely assistant gather up a whole bunch and make it rain – save that next year!

With some time, we made our way into historical Gastown to take photos by the Europe Hotel and Steam clock before it started hailing.. HARD!

No better way to start off the wedding season than engagement photos with my friends Suman and Mario. Once these two warmed up to there picture being taken, there was no stopping them. We took them around Vancouver’s beautiful Gastown and once we got down all the important photos, the rest were all fun!

And than all the fun stuff!
