Ivy and Andrew – Wedding
23.11.2008
Finally my last wedding of the year!
I think this year has been the most successful so far!
Ivy and Andrew had a pretty late wedding, 8th of November and a cold one at that. The morning didn’t look promising with scattered cloud and a calm showers. I wasn’t holding my breath!
The day start at a hotel in Maple Ridge, Chapel just a couple blocks down from the hotel, Rocky Point, Port Moody for a 2hour exclusive photo session and the reception at Westwood Plateau in Port Coquitlam.
The photo session at Rocky Point was my favorite part of the event. I think Ivy and Andrew had a stroke of luck because it was pouring rain as we drove there, but just seconds before the rain had stopped permanently! Glad we came when we did, the mist was lifting and the blue atmosphere made for a great backdrop. Surprisingly, I even found myself shooting with about 10 seconds of sun as it found a pocket within the cloudy sky!
Never been to the Westwood Plateau golf course before. The venue was quite lavish!
When the cake room was revealed, I swear just the smell could have convert any healthy individual into a diabetic! I only tried two chocolates from the tray, but instantly it made me lean over the table, plant both my hands down and figure how i was going to get out of this chocolate coma.
Couple photos to end the night, but not without the water works. I was guilty too!
Stay focused Tom!
